MASTERSOUND AMPLIFIERS
HANDMADE IN
Since 1994, MastersounD amplifiers have been crafting top-tier audio products renowned for their unparalleled quality. The mission from the outset has been to fashion the epitome of perfection—an audio product able to marry timeless aesthetics with outstanding sonic reproduction. Seamlessly.
Within the confines of its laboratory in Arcugnano, Italy, MastersounD's seasoned artisans meticulously manufacture each amplifier with unwavering attention to detail. This process involves carefully selecting and forging the finest components, paving the way by creating distinct handcrafted masterpieces made to last.
An integral facet of crafting exceptional valve amplifiers is producing the output transformer, the beating heart of any amplifier. MastersounD's output transformers are individually hand-wound on a mechanical winding machine in-house. This process, rooted in the passion, experience, and research of the late Cesare Sanavio, has been elevated to new heights by his son, Luciano Sanavio. Luciano has preserved the tradition and pioneered an exclusive transformer construction technique proprietary to MastersounD amplifiers.

While Lorenzo, Luciano's brother, tirelessly expanded MastersounD's global presence, their products have garnered worldwide acclaim. MastersounD amplifiers stand out for their remarkable dynamics, harmonic richness, genuine resolution, and immersive musical engagement—attributes unencumbered by the conventional limitations imposed by off-the-shelf output transformers.
This meticulous and time-intensive manufacturing process is often overlooked by other manufacturers opting for pre-packaged transformers for ease and cost-effectiveness. Yet, for MastersounD, this step is pivotal in harmonising output valves and electronics, transforming an average-sounding product into an outstanding performer—an inherent quality across all MastersounD amplifiers.
Decades of continuous testing and research form the foundation of MastersounD's valve selection, sporting only the finest vacuum tubes from reliable manufacturers. The result is a diverse and influential range of output valve configurations, including EL34, KT120, and KT150, alongside high-powered true single-ended amplifiers featuring 300B and 845 valves. Each product boasts robust power outputs with minimal distortion, covering a broad spectrum of audio enthusiasts and loudspeaker manufacturers alike.
All MastersounD amplifiers are zero feedback, Class-A-based designs; each product is hand-built in stages and can take up to a full week to manufacture.
